This class provides a foundation for all other GVU Wine courses.  You'll learn how wine is made, why you taste what you taste, general information on the major grape varietals and winemaking regions, and how to order and purchase wine with confidence.

• Tuition fee required at the time of registration.
• Tuition will be refunded, minus a $15 processing fee, for registrations cancelled by the cancellation deadline (see Cancellation Policy below)

• No open-ended gift certificates for GVU will be issued.
• Students enrolled by a friend (as a birthday gift, etc.) will be contacted to confirm his/her attendance.

• Cancellation deadline is 48 hours prior to the scheduled class.
• Cancellations made by the deadline will be refunded minus a $15 processing fee.
• Cancellations made after the deadline will NOT be refunded, and tuition cannot be applied to other class sessions or for store credit.
