Del Maguey brings you a collection of fine, rare, unblended mezcals made by individual family producers in tiny remote villages scattered throughout Oaxaca, Mexico. Using natural processes over four hundred years old, the village palenquero captures the true body and spirit of mezcal with only two ingredients: water and the heart of the maguey (agave).

The highest level of integrity is maintained in order to preserve this art which is revered by the peoples of the mountains, plains and fertile valleys of this magical region. These mezcals have a complexity that makes them akin to fine Brandies or Single Malt Scotches.

Tuition for this GrapeVine University course is $25 in advance / $35 at the door.

CLASS POLICIES

Tuition

Tuition fee required at the time of registration.
Tuition will be refunded, minus a $15 processing fee, for registrations cancelled by the cancellation deadline (see Cancellation Policy below)

Gift Enrollments

No open-ended gift certificates for GVU will be issued.
Students enrolled by a friend (as a birthday gift, etc.) will be contacted to confirm his/her attendance.

Cancellations

Cancellation deadline is 48 hours prior to the scheduled class.

Cancellations made by the deadline will be refunded minus a $15 processing fee.

Cancellations made after the deadline will NOT be refunded, and tuition cannot be applied to other class sessions or for store credit.

Switching Sessions

Session switches are not allowed for this session.
