GrapeVine Market turns 9 years old this May and to celebrate we're asking Austin to “Think Pink”. On Saturday, May 24th, 2008, from 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM GrapeVine Market, Kerbey Lane Cafe & PakMail on Anderson Lane will join forces to host a “Pretty In Pink” 80's Prom, featuring a silent auction, dancing with live music from MC 80, gourmet hors d’oeuvres, fabulous wine samples prizes and an Alamo Drafthouse Rolling Road Show presentation of the classic John Hughes film Pretty in Pink.
Tickets are $10 per person in advance ($15 dollars at the door). All proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure Austin.
Come dressed in your best 80’s attire and you could be crowned Prom King or Queen. There will also be chances to win fabulous door prizes including a $500 GrapeVine Market Gift Card grand prize.
So dust off those gnarly 80’s threads and show your support for a “totally awesome” cause.
